Two years after Davis program, 13-year-old tests at 12th grade reading level

"Tigermom", a regular poster at the [DyslexiaTalk] bulletin board, reported as follows:

"I have a 13 year old son who went through the Davis course when he was 11. At the time he was at the end of 5th grade and reading at a 3rd grade level. After the program he was up to a 9th grade level and just in August he tested at a 12th grade level. He still uses accommodations in class but that's it." [Davis Dyslexia Board, 2003]

Tigermom's posts from September, 2001, reporting her son's progress as he went through the one week program can be found here: [Davis Dyslexia Board, 2001]
