Very Special Arts: Playwright Discovery Program

AWARD:

 1 - $ 500 award for category I (ages 18 and under).
 1 - $2,500 award for category II (ages 19-25).

TO STUDY:

 Any field of study.

AT:

 At any accredited institution, or as winner wishes.

OPEN TO:

 People 25 and under with disabilities. 25 applied last year.

SELECTION BASED ON:

 Playwriting competition. Entries should explore the dimensions 
 of disability. The competition is judged by a committee 
 comprised of theatre and film professionals.

DEADLINE:

 Mid-April.

PROCEDURE:

 Contact VSA for application materials; prepare a script 
 according to submission guidelines; submit script by deadline.
