Vivian Menees Nelson Award for the Disabled and Visually Impaired

AWARD:

 1 - $1,000 award.

TO STUDY:

 Instrument or voice.

AT:

 Any accredited institution.

OPEN TO:

 Anyone with a disability or visual impairment, 25-35 years of age. 
 Must be a U.S. citizen and a member of the National Federation of 
 Music Clubs.

SELECTION BASED ON:

 Musical talent.

DEADLINE:

 February 1 for application; March 1 for tape.

PROCEDURE:

 1. Obtain application form.

 2. Submit application, 15-minute tape recording, affidavit from 
 medical doctor stating nature of disability, letter of recommendation 
 from teacher, and $5.00 entry fee.

 3. Submit $20.00 membership fee if not already a member of the Federation.
